Services

Dr. Unger provides assessment, diagnosis and treatment for a wide variety of emotional or psychological conditions such as  eating disorders, inappropriate anger or outbursts, situational depression, general anxiety or anxiety attacks, increased irritability, sleep and\or mood disturbance, driving phobia, relationship problems, mild cognitive impairment, avoidance of unpleasant thoughts, professional burnout, employment outplacement transition, existential loneliness as well as psychological post-trauma consequences (physical, emotional, critical event, and\or workplace).

Fees

Dr. Unger’s fees are typically lower than the Ontario Psychological Association’s suggested fee guidelines.

Like all other psychologists in Ontario, the fee for Dr. Unger’s professional services is currently not covered by OHIP. Your private or workplace health benefits insurance program will typically reimburse you for a portion of his fee.

Dr. Unger is registered with Financial Services Commission of Ontario (FSCO) which will pay him their scheduled rate for the assessment, diagnosis and treatment of any significant psychological consequences of a motor vehicle collision, after an appropriate Treatment Plan is completed and submitted to your auto insurance company and approval received.
