Words of ThanksFrom PatientsDr Unger, Thank you for your wise counsel. I have instructed my solicitor. It was the new will that to "disinherit" me that was the last straw. Looking forward to a new life. Reading a good book - "Finding Meaning in the 2nd Half of Life" by James Hollis, Phd. Gotham Press. Very insightful. Regards, A.B. Dear Dr. Unger, Just wanted to thank you for your help and guidance this past year. Nina is now home and doing much better. Barb and I are on the right track again. You made a significant contribution to helping things improve for us. Al Thank you for the time you spent speaking to my husband Alan concerning Adam. You are right - you and we can only give Adam suggestions and support on ideas of what to do to change things in his life - but it is he who has to turn around and do something. I'm sure you have given him "food for thought" and hopefully in his quiet time he will ponder on them. I will consider calling John [name deleted] (the businessman who Adam admires) to see if he can help but for a couple of reasons, I will call him after Easter. Adam will be assessed as I understand it, at the end of April (approx) by the Mental Health Coun. Program. Thank you again for your support for our son. Heather Dr. Unger I wish to thank you very much for all your help and words of wisdom. Things seem to be turning around slowly for the better, some day soon we shall be a happy family again. Thanks again. Yours truly, Kim Thank You For helping me get back on track with my life and out of my "rainy gloomy days". Thanks to you, the sun is shining again! Shirley Rob, Further to our conversation regarding photography challenges in cold places I hope you enjoy this book, which has been in my library for awhile. I would like you to have it. Thank you for your words of wisdom and insight. Besides what better place for this book but on a Psychologist's coffee table. The title is perfect. Sincerely Lorna Dear Rob, Thanks so much for being available to Glenn and I during our crisis with my brother. You helped make some sense of his dilemma for us, and I believe you helped him pursue getting further immediate treatment. All your time, effort and support was so greatly appreciated. With much thanks and friendship, Lisa and Glenn Dear Dr. Unger, I just wanted to thank you for all of your help during the five sessions. Just to keep you up to date. Since our last visit my relationship with Tim is completely over. It was amazing how much was lifted off of my shoulders the day that we exchanged our stuff and called it quits. Its been a month and I'm holding up very well. He called me the other day to tell me how much he misses me and loves me, but it didn't even affect me. I have since moved on, and I have started dating again. I met a really nice guy, and we are doing things the way things are supposed to be done, getting to know each other. Friends first, and he has enough respect for me, that he isn't ready to just jump in the sack. I took your advice. I deserve better than I had. A more career oriented person, who treats me the way I should be treated. That's exactly what this new person is doing for me. But even if things don't work out I'm learning a lot. Learning what its like not to have someone around ALL the time, and it's really not so bad. It makes the time we do have together more special. Thanks again. Sincerely, Tina Rob, Thanks for helping me to unload my grain of sand. I am somewhat poorer, financially speaking, but I feel much better than I have in years. I am off all medication and I haven't had even a cold in eight months. Quality of life is definitely up! Don Dear Bob This is a long distance thanx for your help and your generosity to me recently. Nothing like seeing 1 Billion people to put one's own preoccupations in perspective!! Cheers, Dear Rob: I have lost contact with you and thought I would "check-in". My private/personal life is stable and pleasant also. I am not sure just where I am at regarding calling you? perhaps I am doing okay? Thank you for all your help & advice to date Cheers Hello Rob, it has been a long time since we spoke and just wanted to let you know how I'm doing and give you a big THANK YOU for the tremendous help you gave me.
